Alex Tunnadine is a geologist with significant global experience in mineral systems and prospectivity analysis, exploration targeting and applied structural geology, supporting the development of robust exploration and mining strategies. His career spans regional and near-mine exploration, resource definition, exploration management as well as underground and open-pit mining.

Alex has authored JORC and VALMIN compliant technical reports—including Competent Person’s Reports—supporting listings, project financings and corporate transactions. His technical expertise covers a broad range of commodities and deposit styles, including IOCG, porphyry, epithermal, skarn, VMS, orogenic gold, iron ore, diamonds, metallurgical coal and unconventional petroleum. Alex has worked on projects across the majority of the worlds significant mineral provinces, including those in Australia, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, Scandinavia and Asia.

A strong advocate for technical excellence, Alex has delivered structural geology and 3D modelling training to industry and has lectured at undergraduate and master’s level in Australia. He has led high-performing geological teams and contributed strategically to exploration programs across multiple jurisdictions and has been a technical advisor to a number of companies.

In addition to his technical expertise, Alex brings sound corporate governance capability, board-level oversight and an understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment required of listed entities.
